I picked up my first camera at the age of 14, in my middle school art class in Luverne Minnesota. From there I was hooked. I created my own Independent Study my senior year, focused on Photography, and even though I initially was going to college for a degree in education, within a year I had switched the the Photojournalism program. I created my business shortly after, and went full time as a professional photographer in early 2012.

Photography has always been a way for my to capture the world around me. To create images for people to cherish and love for years to come. A few years ago, I was introduced to Brand and Branding Photography, and Commercial Photography and Videography. Helping businesses and brands grow and thrive, though printed and social media; and celebrating their unique ideas and what they bring to the world, is now a focus of mine as well as creating the beautiful wedding, family, newborn, and personal photography services I have been crafting for over 20 years.

In late 2022, my family relocated to the beautiful Treasure Coast of Florida. We love celebrating the wonderful landscape and activities this area has to offer, and I love the new challenges it brings to my photography. Helping clients at the beach, the beautiful nature areas, and in their businesses here; has been a recent Hilight for me!
